New Canaan Residence
On a gently rolling hill a couple's dream house overlooks their dominion. Their home on a 2-acre piece of property in New Canaan, CT may not be the Scottish Baronial Castle from which it is inspired, but there are hints of the style seamlessly integrated into the Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) construction. Behind the battlement and gate house three rectangular volumes of the house are centered around an inner courtyard. Hidden within the tower is a personal library connected by a spiral staircase within the turret.
